Mission 1: The Golf of Mexico
In this Mission...
Dr. Eugene Wick I.D. and his associate Platypus have decided to turn the Gulf of Mexico into a golf course. As a double agent working for the Anti-Villainy Unit (AVU), the student's job is to foil Dr. Wick's plans by following AVU orders to make his scheme as expensive and problematic as possible. The Mission consists of 4 animation scenes, 4 math activities, and one of 3 possible endings.
Math topics explored in this Mission:
- Addition
- Composite Figures
- Multiplication
- Problem Solving
- Area calculation
- Algebraic Expressions
- Division
- Numeric Patterns
- Subtraction
- Geometric Figures
- Order of Operations
The activities in this Mission use or practice these Voluntary State Curriculum standards in mathematics:
